• 1999 – Graduated with DDS degree from University of Maryland Dental School
• 2007 – Certified in Oral Sedation Dentistry
• 2008 – Certified in implantology course from New York University (NYU)
• 2009 – Became faculty at International Congree of Oral Implantologists (ICOI)
• 2011 – Became a memeber of American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID)

Dr. Atapour has license to practice dentistry in Maryland as well as New York.
